This interactive minigame lets users bounce a laser between rotatable mirror pieces with the goal of activating 4 Arduino-powered light sensors placed throughout. A processing sketch communicates with the Arduino board to make the core of the installation, and a blueprinted wooden frame and 3D printed mirror pieces (modeled in Blender) were assembled to complete the experience. Responsive retro-videogame graphics are projection-mapped onto the piece to guide users through operating the maze. To simulate use in a museum environment, a full recreation of the installation in Blender shows the laser hitting the sensor to reveal laser-related fun facts on an auxiliary display.
